Previously, each bounty token was worth about 30-35xp on average. Each esca 10-50 had about a 25-30% chance to drop a bounty token. This meant each esca, when you averaged it out, gave about 10xp. You are getting the same, if not more, XP per escalation, as you'd have gotten from the averaged out chance.
