A slow hard drive probably wouldn't cause low GPU usage. Most of the relevant data for a game to run gets loaded to the RAM anyway. Whenever I render heavy 8K footage, both hardly get over 30% of usage, with some brief spikes for the CPU of 50 to 60%. The game reserves resources of the GPU to deliver the game in the quality you want. WebI installed the msi afterburner and started a game to let see what cause the problem: The GPU usage suddenly go up to 100% while playing. After i quit the GPU usage show still 100%. I checked now again and noticed that GPU usage go up to 100 without starting any game just writing this topic. Thanks for the help.
