I have about 3 years experience with this, but it’s been about 3 years since I was in this role. I have been looking into volunteer positions in order to refresh my writing skill set. WebMild disagree as grantwriting has particularities that are different from other writing styles. A versatile writer can easily learn to do it, but it’s not automatic. Volunteering could be a great way to get started, especially if the non-profit is willing to share past grant applications that were successful.
