My autofocus just quit today as well. I can still take photos, just no autofocus. The lens is AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm 3.5-5.6GED. I have tried cleaning contacts to no avail. I also have a Nikkor AF-S 55-200 mm 1.4-5.6ED and the autofocus seems to work fine with it.
